Empty text nodes in Microsoft Internet Explorer

I really would love to know why Microsoft Internet Explorer has to be so difficult…

If you’re finding bizarre white spaces on your pages in IE but no other browser, take a look at the following.

I ended up wrapping my image in a generic div, and voila. No more empty text node. Finally.

Regexp in Microsoft Word

For anyone (especially those with low tech expertise or in corporate environments with stubborn IT departments) who needs to do some low-level regexp…why not try out Microsoft Word?

Here are some helpful tips on how to add regular expressions (i.e. pattern matching) to your searches in Microsoft Word. It certainly improves on Ctrl+F, eh?
